The Faculty of Life Sciences (FLS) was filled with music and joy during the visit of the musical group "Sonidos del Sol." The event, which brought together faculty, staff, and students, was part of an institutional tour designed to strengthen cultural ties within the polytechnic community.
Blanca Santos, director of ESPOL Cultural—the unit in charge of organizing the event—highlighted that this performance is a special milestone, as the group is celebrating 19 years of artistic trajectory.
A standout moment of the afternoon was the participation of Víctor Quinteros, a student in both the Agricultural Engineering and Biology programs. Víctor, who serves as the lead singer of "Sonidos del Sol," demonstrated that academic excellence in life sciences can coexist in harmony with artistic talent, serving as an example of the well-rounded education promoted by the FLS.
