On February 7th, students from the second cohort of the Master’s program in Modernized Irrigation and Fertigation participated in the specialized workshop: "Planning and Design of Pumping Systems for Agro-industrial Irrigation."
This technical session, held at Hacienda JJ in the Colimes district, enabled professionals to apply hydraulic engineering criteria in real-world production environments. The workshop was led by Eng. Marco Pineda Romero, an expert in irrigation infrastructure, and was academically supervised by MSc. Jaime Proaño, a graduate faculty member of our institution.
Key Pillars of the Activity:
Field Innovation: Analysis and design of pumping systems optimized for water efficiency.
Productive Engagement: Practical execution within the agro-industrial hub of the Guayas province.
Academic Excellence: Training focused on solving complex technical problems under international standards.
