The Faculty of Life Sciences (FLS) hosted a visit from Matthias Gaberthuel, Andressa Lemus, and Damir Ivacic, international executives from Syngenta, as part of the research and development projects currently being executed through this joint partnership.
During the visit, company representatives toured the greenhouse trials and FLS facilities, where they reviewed the technical and scientific progress of ongoing research. The meeting served to strengthen knowledge exchange and consolidate collaborative spaces between academia and industry for the development of innovative solutions tailored to the agricultural sector.
The visit reaffirms the commitment of both institutions to generating applied research and promoting projects developed under the current needs and challenges of the industry, thereby fostering innovation, sustainability, and knowledge transfer. Furthermore, these types of strategic alliances contribute to strengthening scientific and technological capacities, building trust-based ties that allow the impact of research to be expanded for the benefit of the productive sector.
