The activity, led by professor and researcher Luz Valencia, aimed to evaluate anthropometric parameters, nutritional status, and dietary habits in infants and older adults, enabling early identification of risks linked to malnutrition, overweight, and other metabolic conditions.

The coordination and execution of this initiative were made possible through a strategic partnership with the Diakonía Food Bank and the use of facilities provided by the CEYOM of the Municipal Government (GAD) of Samborondón. Through these initiatives, future nutrition professionals apply scientific and technical knowledge to directly serve the community, promoting wellness and preventive healthcare across the region.
