In a labor market evolving toward digitalization and data analysis, the Life Sciences Faculty (LFS) reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence and the training of highly competitive professionals.

On Thursday, February 26, a high-level strategic working session was held. The meeting featured the presence of the Vice President of R&D+i, Ph.D. Carlos Monsalve, and the Dean of Outreach, Ph.D. Adriana Santos Ordóñez. Representing our faculty, the session was led by the Dean, Ph.D. María Isabel Jiménez Feijóo, alongside the Associate Dean, Ph.D. Ana Tirapé, and the coordinators of the Biology, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Agricultural Engineering programs.

Using the 1Mentor by QS platform, the authorities analyzed current professional trajectories and international market demands. This data intelligence tool allowed for the identification of specific skill gaps within the life sciences fields.
