In the heart of the San Vicente community, within the Yaguachi canton, the Life Sciences Faculty (LFS) took a significant step toward agricultural modernization. In collaboration with the Maquita organization, the workshop "Technological Tools in Agriculture" was held—an initiative designed to bridge the digital divide in the rural sector.

This workshop is part of the project "Multi-stakeholder Innovation in Water Management for Local Development in the Bulubulu Basin, Ecuador." The primary objective was to equip local promoters with the necessary skills to technically and accurately identify, record, and analyze their agricultural land.

During the session, project beneficiaries interacted with advanced technological tools, learning to use them autonomously directly within their production areas. This training not only facilitates data recording but also enables farmers to make decisions based on real-time information for more efficient and sustainable management of their crops and water resources.

The event featured the active participation of representatives from ESPOL and Maquita, who reaffirmed their commitment to continue promoting an agricultural model that combines traditional knowledge with cutting-edge technological innovation.
